PERPETUAL TROPHIES.
Roselands FC is proud to have established several perpetual trophies to honour outstanding players and contributors to the club. These trophies are awarded annually to recognise the achievements, sportsmanship, and dedication of individuals who embody the values of Roselands FC.
- A J Martin Trophy –Senior sportsman of the year - Awarded in honour of A J Martin, one of the club's founding members and life member, who played a key role in the club's early years and development.
- Tom Wake Memorial – Mark a former player, coach, and EC Member This trophy is dedicated to Tom Wake, who tragically passed away as a player at U13 level. His father, Mark, a former player, coach, and Executive Committee member, made a generous donation in Tom's memory to establish this award.
- Ken Martin - In recognition of Ken Martin, former player, coach, and life member, and son of the club's founders, Grace and Tony Martin. Ken played a vital role in the club's growth and legacy.
- Horry Robson – Team Sportsmanship Horry Robson, the long-time Store Manager at Grace Bros Roselands and Patron of the Club, was known for his dedication and unwavering support. This trophy honours the spirit of sportsmanship in our teams.
- R. Boa & Ross Calman – Junior Goalkeeper Awarded in memory of R. Boa and Ross Calman, both former players and coaches who had a lasting impact on the development of junior goalkeepers at the club.
- Brian Wheeler – Junior Sportsman This trophy is awarded in honour of Brian Wheeler, a former player, coach, and Executive Committee member. Brian was a key part of the original committee of Morton Wanderers when R Morton United was formed.
- Sheila Turner – Sportswoman Merit Sheila Turner, a former player who was an integral part of the Morton Wanderers team, came from a family where soccer was a shared passion. The award recognises her outstanding contribution to the club.
- Jane Hyde – Junior Sportswoman Presented to Jane Hyde, a former manager whose commitment to the junior teams made a significant difference in the lives of many young players.
- The Grace & Tony Martin Trophy – Exceptional Service Award Awarded to individuals who have gone above and beyond in contributing to the club. This trophy honours Grace and Tony Martin, the founding figures of Roselands FC, for their vision and dedication to creating a thriving community through soccer.
