What’s Covered by Your Registration?

Your fees include everything needed for a great football experience:

• Your spot in the team
• Game Day Jersey hire (to be returned at the end of the season)
• Shorts, training shirt, and socks
• Ground hire, lighting, equipment, and first aid provisions
• Development opportunities for our amazing coaches and referees

Registering Made Simple

Registration for the 2025 Winter Season will be completed through the Dribl Registration System. Here’s what you need to know:

• Photo Update: Upload a new passport-style or school photo each year to avoid game day issues. It’s easy—just make sure the player is looking at the camera with no hats or sunglasses.
• Returning Players: Use your existing Dribl account to register and update details as needed.
• One Account for the Family: Manage multiple player, coach, or manager registrations from a single account.
• Confirmation Email: Once your registration is reviewed and accepted by Roselands FC, you’ll receive an email confirming your spot.

FAQs About Registration

Can I request for my child to play with their friends?
We’ll do our best! You can specify your preferences in Dribl, and while we can’t guarantee every request, we’ll let you know if it’s not possible.

How do I know my child’s age group?
Players are grouped by the age they turn during the calendar year. For example, a child turning 10 in 2025 will generally play in the Under 10 competition. Special considerations can be made to play up to two years above their age group.

What payment options are available?
You can pay via credit card in Dribl, with the option to split payments into three monthly instalments. We also accept Active Kids Vouchers, which can be applied during registration.

When do I need to register by?
Please register early! This helps us form teams and accommodate all players. Late registrations may result in limited team spots or larger subs on game day. Early registrations could even mean we can create more teams—more fun for everyone!

How Are Teams Formed?

1. Where possible, we will try to assign returning players to their previous teams. If an age group has more than the required numbers for a team, we may consider moving more experienced players to a higher age group. We will communicate this to parents first.

2. New players who completed registration and have a confirmed place within a team will be assigned at this time. 

3. Roselands FC works with our coaches and managers in coordinating discussions aimed at sourcing new players where teams are short of players

4. The Club also works to balance teams where there are too many players who want to play for a single team. If we don't have the numbers for a complete team, we will collaborate with other clubs in the Football Canterbury community to try and find you a place. We will let you know if this is the case.

Once teams are finalised, the Club will communicate this to team coaches, managers and players via a team confirmation email and register the team with Football Canterbury Association for the up-coming season.
